A local couple whose children had flown the nest came to us looking to update their tired bathroom. Their wish was to add a spa-like feel to the room, now they had more opportunity to enjoy some well deserved relaxation time!
With images saved from social media and Pinterest, we had a great idea right from the very start of the style and look they were hoping to create – simple and neutral with a Scandi tone of woods and large rainfall showering area. The budget was openly discussed in which there was room for a little manoeuvring if necessary – this saves a great deal of time with the design and product choice team, although we understand not all clients wish to share their budget initially.
After a friendly chat together our clients wanted their quote to include our in-house installation as well as bathroom supply – with this fresh in our minds, we set to work on the design!
The design team
With a quick visit to survey the property ticked off, Andy produced a design layout of how the room could look, including furniture choices chosen for that luxury feel and longevity as this was a home to be lived in for many years to come.

At its heart is a spacious, walk-in shower enclosed by sleek, full height Merlyn glass panels, creating an airy feel.
An Aqualla brushed bronze rainfall shower and matching fittings throughout the room would bring a touch of that luxury hotel feel, with a Merlyn low profile shower tray to enhance accessibility.
Using Porcelanosa Lexington tile to give the wood effect Scandi feels in the shower enclosure pairs beautifully with the soft, natural large format tiles which flow timelessly across the rest of the room.
Built-in illuminated niches provide stylish and practical storage areas. A tiled niche in the shower area and a bespoke built recessed storage cupboard with integrated LED lighting above the discreetly set back to wall WC.
Our clients preferred a wall-hung basin vanity unit which we dressed with a round natural stone effect vessel basin. This will be highlighted by the soft glow of the large LED mirror.

Let's build a bathroom

With a timescale of fourteen working days to turn around the bathroom renovation, our installer began to work his magic.
Becoming best buddies with the family dog, Sophie the Cockapoo, the rip out began under Sophie's watchful eye!

Swiftly moving on to the first fix phase, all pipework is replaced and we ensure all surfaces are structurally sound. Much of the work in the first week is never seen but is an integral part of the functioning of a quality bathroom – an absolute must!
Every detail was carefully crafted from the decision of the grout finish in the tiling to the exact positioning of the towel rail.
Every renovation is unique and so are you - making your space your own matters to us.
The end result: a bathroom that just feels peaceful

Soft neutral tones and natural textures give the room a calming, welcoming feel with a little touch of luxury whilst feeling like home.
“The whole process was smooth from start to finish. The installer became like a friend and worked efficiently with little disruption in our home life. We are absolutely thrilled - it’s better than we imagined!”
